We will not do more than 3 body, facial or cartilage piercings of any combination in a quantity of more than 3.
We recommend waiting at least 6 weeks in between appointments to allow for the initial swelling and tenderness to pass before having more work done to make aftercare more manageable.
Please arrive for your appointment on time. If you arrive more than 5 minutes late to your appointment it will be recorded as a no show and your card on file will automatically be charged the no show fee you agreed to when booking.
We know that things can happen that results in you having to cancel or reschedule your appointment which is why we give all customers the flexibility to cancel your appointment online 100% free of charge up to 24 hours before their appointment.
If you cancel with less that 24 hours notice your card on file will automatically be charged the cancelation fee you agreed to when booking.
This policy is made clear when booking and is enforced. We can not squeeze you in if you are late because it will make all remaining appointments that day late and we will not "Rush it" because that means we will not be able to adequately clean between clients.
We understand that things happen and occasionally it is impossible to make it to your appointment. If this happens you are absolutely welcome back to the shop for your next appointment no questions asked however you will be charged the previously agreed on amount automatically.

The use of over-the-counter topical anesthetic creams or gels is not necessary for body piercings. As with injectable agents, there is potential for allergic reactions. A prescription-strength topical anesthetic is illegal unless prescribed by a licensed medical professional.
These may induce localized tissue edema (swelling), alter skin texture, and affect accurate piercing placement. These effects make the piercing procedure more challenging for the piercer to perform. It is difficult to be sure of the ultimate appearance of a piercing when region is adulterated or distorted. The tissue will resume its normal shape and texture gradually as the effects of the product are diminished.
Ethyl Chloride is a prescription-only freezing spray and its use can result in frostbite damage, which can complicate and delay healing. It is quite painful to have applied, and takes much longer to administer than a simple piercing. Ice is another method of superficial freezing. It may result in tissue damage, like ethyl chloride. All of the complications related to ethyl chloride also apply to ice.
We do not allow additional guests in the piercing area due to liability concerns. This means anyone you bring with you will have to remain in the lobby area during your appointment-please do not bring minors that do not have additional adult supervision. Access is however permitted to translators and parents/legal guardians for minors.
Most medical conditions and medications will not prevent you from being pierced, however we may need to tailor your aftercare advice or warn you of healing complications so that you can make and informed decision. Any information provided will be kept strictly confidential. In some rare cases we may ask you to provide a doctors note confirming that you condition does not put you at risk. If you have any questions please contact us at luckyladybodypiercing@gmail.com.
Piercings cannot be performed while you are pregnant or breastfeeding due to the risk of infection.
We suggest waiting at least 6 months from the time you have ceased breastfeeding to have your nipples pierced. This will allow the nipple time to stabilize as breastfeeding can change the size and shape of your nipple.
We recommend waiting 6 months postpartum before having any new piercings performed, this is regardless of whether or not you have chosen to breastfeed.
In the event that you have suffered a miscarriage please give yourself a minimum of 6 months for your body to recover.
*If you have suffered a miscarriage before 24 weeks and/or have not been through the birthing process you may still have pregnancy hormones in your body for up to 2 months. We recommend waiting 3 months before getting any new piercings to allow your hormonal balance to stabilize.
If you have undergone an outpatient termination of up to 10 weeks please wait either 2 months or until your next period (whichever comes first) to be pierced. If you have undergone an inpatient surgical termination our recommendation is to wait 3 months before getting any new piercings.
In all instances please consult and follow your medical practitioners advice.
